+ Add Space Description

Perhaps I am doing it wrong, but whenever I click '+ Add Space Description' it just opens the Space TITLE editor input instead.

Fixed up and in review. Thanks for the note.
In Chrom(ium) should be out if we are lucky by today or latest tomorrow morning, in Firefox in about 10minutes.

        So glad to hear!

Tell me: What would it take for you to be the best tool on the market? What's urgently/dearly missing?

Currently, I use multiple tools all for singular features that help keep my ideas organized. I would LOVE to see Memex become my one and only powerhouse tool that takes over and from what you already have it is definitely on track to do just that. However, here are a few key features that I (and I am sure other users) would really require before I can dub Memex the most efficient workflow.

          #1 Feature
Diigo's Outliner Feature - The ability to quickly filter & take my highlights (with a source link) and just drag and drop them into a toggleable document. I absolutely love this feature and can't be without it.

Ideally, I would LOVE for that toggleable document to be created within Notion.io. I have actually built a custom workflow using Klipper: Notion Web Clipper just to do this, but it is way more complicated than it needs to be.

Memex already has a way to copy an annotation and paste it as Notion markdown. However, that can only be done from the Memex dashboard. The ability to have a Notion page open, search a Space, and grab a note (or the notion markdown) all within the sidebar is really what is needed.

Note: This should ideally be an added tab within the sidebar extension. Maintaining the ability to only see notes relevant to the particular URL you are on is still very important.

          #2 Improved Formatting

Right now Memex saves highlights formatted as one big paragraph. I really need to have it maintain the formatting of the original copy. Both when it saves the note into Memex and when you use the copy-and-paste note feature.

          #3 Annotating Google Drive PDFs

Memex's PDF feature is fantastic, but I would really like to be able to use it with PDFs stored in google drive. The ability to save highlights from my pdfs or docs located within Google drive or by using the google drive share link would be super helpful.

          #4 Annotate Private Videos

I have been playing with Memex's newest video timestamp feature and like it a lot. I currently use ReClipped and I would love to see Memex become its full replacement. The ability to annotate a video from more than just YouTube would be helpful. Reclipped has a way to annotate videos from from YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive (Public), Amazon S3 (Public files), OneDrive (Shared URL), and Dropbox (Shared URL) or videos uploaded from your localfile system. Ultimately, I wish there was a way to annotate videos from the private courses I am subscribed to but I haven't found anything that can. Reclipped has been the closest.

          #5 Mini Video Snippets

The other missing video feature is the added ability to grab a video snippet, where you can create your own sharable mini video note. By adding a start & stop time you can clip out a short clip from a lengthy video. Here is an example: https://reclipped.com/a/BloasCWNEe6NJm_j25uNbA

#6 Open all Links from a space into a window (optional)

Toby - to quickly bookmark important URLs and manage my overflowing tabs.

Although a bit hidden, Memex already has a feature to 'save all tabs in window' to a space. Managing overflowing tabs isn't necessarily what Memex is meant for, and I don't see it becoming that kind of tool. But it might be nice to have a way to then open all links at once from a space.

Feel free to ask any questions. Cheer to the amazing future of Memex.
