The ability to full text search on mobile so you can:

  • Be at a party and instantly send someone the reference you are talking about

  • Be on the go and pull up that article you wanted to read

    This is coming very soon. Currently planning on how to implement it and with it will also come big improvements to the desktop search.

    • "Exact phrase matching"

    • Pages and annotations in the same result list

    • Better performance

    • Better filters

      • "has/not any spaces"

      • "has/not any annotation"

      • more performant content type filters

      To me, while it would be great to have your variant, it looks like the OP just wanted to have a "Find in Page" feature available in the Web View of the Mobile Annotation Screen.

          I wouldn't say necessarily that is the whole Use Case covered. The OP wants an ability to quickly find stuff (and that can only be via Full-text Search), and then they mention Sharing aspects too. So it is a mix of what you are aiming on the Roadmap and more simpler functionality (which is also captured).
