Hazy double text on PDF highlights
After adding a note to a PDF a really annoying hazing effect develops on top of the annotated text. Hopefully, you are able to notice it in the screenshot.

Is it possible that you are not in the reader but in the nomal pdf view?
I need to disable showing the highlights there bc it can lead to this effect.

That's exactly whats happening. This is the first time I'm introduced to the Memex PDF Reader and that is because the URL of my pdfs are just paths (rather than ending in .../dummy.pdf they end /document-id/pdf/, so memex can't detect them as PDF).
If I understand correctly I should only use the Memex PDF reader to highlight PDF files? Is this the same reader that Memex mobile apps are using?
I'm trying to use the Memex reader now and I encountered some issues. I will report them in a new card.
thanks!
