I don't think this is actually fixed yet. (Or maybe there's a regression?) I've been having this repeatedly all weekend with three different PDFs (although there's one in particular it seems to happen to more often than the others). This is despite using the PDF upload mechanism provided at https://memex.social
How old is that PDF? What's the date when you first saved it?

It looks like it is trying to get that file from local hard drive. Is that file available there? We just recently introduced file upload for PDFs so this is not uploaded yet and therefore not available if you moved it.

Ahh okay! Thanks that is likely the issue. I just a fresh install on my whole computer. I will check out the new file upload feature. Thanks for the quick response.

That file upload feature runs just automatically if you annotate or save a pdf in Memex that you dragged in or opened from the hard drive. This way its available for being shared with annotations also to people who don't use Memex.
