Zettelkasten prefix when linking to Obsidian (or any prefix)

My vault is set to create notes following the Zettelkasten naming convention; which looks like YYYYMMDDHHmm <title>

I just turned the syncing and now I have over a thousand new notes that do not match my vault and that are sitting at the top of the list, and new notes that I create via Obsidian are buried under the Memex synced ones.

Great feature though, but would be nice to be able to have more control over how they will get synced (e.g. only sync things that have notes or highlights, etc)

    Shipped the file name structure customisation in the latest 3.6.7 version. Is in review on Chrome and will not be available until tomorrow presumably, released on Firefox already.

    What you can do now is just use any sequence of texts and 2 types of placeholders

    • {{{PageTitle}}} for the page title

    • {{{Date: "YYMMDD"}}} whereas you can replace the date structure inside the "" with the format you like.

    Great improvement suggestion, will take care of it.

    Question though: How did you end up having already thousands of notes synced over bc we don't have retroactive sync implemented yet.
